Business English Semi-Private is designed for two professionals who want to strengthen their workplace communication skills while learning together. Rather than following a fixed syllabus, your training begins with an individual placement assessment for each participant and a complimentary planning consultation. This allows us to understand each learner's English level, your organization's communication priorities, and the situations where your team uses English most. Every lesson is tailored to your team's professional needs, creating a practical and engaging learning experience that supports both learners.    
Your program starts before your first lesson. Each participant completes an individual placement assessment so our academic team can evaluate current English proficiency, communication skills, strengths, and areas for development. Next, we'll meet with your company for a complimentary 30-minute planning consultation to discuss your communication goals, workplace priorities, and the situations where your employees use English. Using this information, we'll design a personalized learning pathway that supports both learners while aligning with your organization's objectives.    
Even colleagues who work closely together often have different English strengths. One learner may communicate confidently but need greater accuracy, while another may have strong grammar but need more speaking practice. That's why every participant is assessed individually before training begins. Our academic team uses these results to recommend the learning pathway that will help both learners succeed together.

  • Each lesson is delivered live online.
  • After purchase, we'll contact you to arrange the placement assessments, planning consultation, and lesson schedule.
  • Lesson times are subject to teacher availability and a schedule that works for both participants.
  • Rescheduling requests must be submitted to Lumin Academy Support at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
  • Requests made less than 24 hours in advance, or missed sessions, may be considered completed and are not eligible for a refund or complimentary rescheduling.
  • If Lumin Academy needs to reschedule a session, we'll offer the next available appointment.
  • Package fees are non-refundable once the first lesson has been attended.
  • Placement assessments are used to recommend the most appropriate learning pathway and do not guarantee a specific teacher or schedule.
