Refund Policy
Effective date: June 17, 2026
This policy applies to placement bookings, private and semi-private study packages, and live group class purchases made through Lumin Academy.
Placement bookings can be refunded in full only if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the confirmed placement session.
For private and semi-private packages, cancellation can be requested before the next confirmed session. If the request is made at least 48 hours before that next session, the learner may receive a refund for the unused balance after completed services are deducted.
Requests made inside the 48-hour window may be reduced by the cost of completed sessions, any already-reserved upcoming session, and non-recoverable payment or administrative handling costs where applicable.
Group classes can be refunded in full only if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the class start date.
After that point, refunds may be reduced by completed sessions, any committed seat costs, and non-recoverable processing charges.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Where payment providers such as Paddle apply their own settlement timing, refund timing follows that provider as well. For support, contact Lumin through the Contact page.
