Every private package begins with a live placement assessment. During this session, one of our academic specialists will evaluate your English level and discuss your learning goals. This allows us to recommend the most appropriate starting point and helps your teacher plan lessons that match your needs. Your assessment may include:

This is not a pass-or-fail exam. Its purpose is to help you begin your course at the right level.

Flexible Scheduling

We work with you to arrange lesson times that fit your schedule, subject to teacher availability.  
  • This package includes 12 live private English lessons and one 20-minute placement assessment.
  • Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.
  • The total instructional time is 9 hours.
  • The recommended study schedule is three lessons per week unless otherwise agreed with Lumin Academy.
  • After purchase, we'll contact you to arrange your placement assessment, start date, and lesson schedule.
  • Lesson times are subject to teacher availability.
  • Rescheduling requests must be submitted to Lumin Academy Support at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
  • Requests made less than 24 hours in advance, or missed sessions, may be considered completed and are not eligible for a refund or complimentary rescheduling.
  • If Lumin Academy needs to reschedule a session, we'll offer the next available appointment.
  • Package fees are non-refundable once the first lesson has been attended.
  • The placement assessment provides a level recommendation only and does not guarantee a specific teacher, schedule, or future class.
  • A placement test isn't required if you've taken one with Lumin Academy within the past three months.
  • Unused lessons may not be transferred to another learner.
  • Continuation after this package depends on your learning goals, teacher availability, and suitable course options.
